Methods of pickup and delivery:
  • Call-in dictation: Call toll free into our secure system using any
    touch-tone telephone (even cellular) from anywhere in the United
    States.
  • Digital Dictation: If you do not want to be bound to a phone, the
    digital hand-held recorders would be more suitable for you.  PTS
    will provide you with software and a microphone that is attached
    to your computer (desktop and/or laptop), and with just one press
    of a button, your dictations are sent to PTS safely and securely.
  • Another digital option is a hand-held digital voice recorder that is
    similar to a hand-held tape recorder.  After dictation is complete, it
    is plugged into a computer and the audio files are sent to PTS via
    e-mail.
  • Transcribed documents can be transmitted either by fax, e-mail,
    FTP server, or secure data warehouse.  All of these options are in
    accordance with HIPAA Guidelines and use 128 to 256-bit
    encryption.
